Terms of Service

I agree that the information I have provided is a current, true and an accurate reflection of the questions asked. No information has been omitted and I have not provided misleading information.

By agreeing to the terms of service you acknowledge that this business takes no financial, legal or other responsibility for any effects of my animals behavioural condition or health condition now or at any time in the future. These effects include but are not limited to aggressive episodes, bites resulting in physical or psychological damage or death of a person, child or other animal, regression or degeneration of the animal’s condition, injury, death, illness involving the animal or any other animals involved.

This agreement between Apex Dog Behaviour and Training relates to both current and future services provided by the business.

If it is deemed necessary, you may be referred to another trainer, veterinarian or veterinary behaviourist for treatment or continued training or treatment. You may request a referral at any time.

All services are to be paid in full before commencement of training or care and any extra costs incurred must be paid within seven days of the service being provided.

By agreeing to the terms of service, the owner or responsible party agrees that any group classes or one on one training sessions that they enrol in or otherwise request are able to be attended in full. Classes or lessons cannot be rescheduled, transferred or refunded once you have enrolled. We do not offer make up lessons for missed classes.

At no time will threatening, violent or abusive behaviour be tolerated. We reserve the right to terminate services with all fees paid forfeited should this occur.

Provision of service is not a guarantee of improvement in presenting or other behavioural complaints or disorders, regardless of the diligence of the owner or trainer. By consenting to the terms of service, the owner and any handlers of the animal agrees that the business is not responsible for any regression or deterioration in condition and its effects.

By agreeing to the terms of service you acknowledge that this business is in no way responsible for any injury, loss, death, damages or financial liability pertaining to a person as a result of services provided, whether in the clients home, in a public location or at the business office. This business is not responsible for injury, illness, loss, death or adverse event relating to any animal, whether it be the animal under the care of the business, wildlife or any other animals in the household.

In the event of a veterinary emergency, we will do our best to contact you or your provided alternate contact as soon as possible. In the event that you aren’t contactable or the situation is such that prohibits contact with you (e.g. loss of contact information, carer injury or illness etc.) we will transport your pet to a vet and request treatment on your behalf until you are able to be contacted. In agreeing with the terms of service, you agree to pay immediately and in full all veterinary costs incurred. The business will not be held responsible for any veterinary costs incurred by your pets.

The client agrees for the business to use voice recordings, photographs, video recordings or other media for use in promotional or educational material.

All services that are paid for must be used within three months of the date of payment. After this time, the monies paid will be forfeited.

At any time this business may modify the terms and conditions of service, prices of services or any other material without notice.

All persons that consent to the terms and conditions of service agree that they are over 18 years of age.
